Budapest is a dark colored slate with pink details.
We work with slate because it is one of the schist stones, like mica and marble: soft and like a multi-layered pastry.
Each panel is cut from a block of stone extracted from our Indian quarries with the help of a resin and fiberglass support which, while drying, allows to focus on a fine stratum. The panels are then torn off manually one after the other until the block is depleted.
To form itself, the rock goes under a clay transformation due to variation in temperature and pressure. Those are noble and elegant natural stones.
We offer our Budapest design in 2 sizes (1220x610 mm and 1200x2400 mm) and 2 finishes (Classic and Translucent - transparent resin on the back, which lets the light through).
The stone panels have the same characteristics as cladding sheets, without their disadvantages. Our panels are thin, light, flexible, inexpensive, and easy to install and to transport.
Their resistance allows them to be installed both indoors and outdoors, in dry areas (walls, furniture, fireplaces, etc.) as well as in wet areas (showers, swimming pools, kitchen splashbacks, etc.) and on curved surfaces.
The installation is quite simple: all you need is a circular saw or a jigsaw, an orbital sander for the external angles as well as our MS Polymer glue for a quick adhesion.
On our E-shop, you will find all the technical documentation (specification sheets, installation protocols, tutorial videos) as well as all the additional installation and maintenance products necessary for your project: sealants, wipes, water repellent, cleaners, etc.
Because our panels are real stone and therefore products created by nature, each panel is unique and can have some variations. However, we will always deliver panels from the same block of stone to ensure consistency in color and pattern.
