Our Rio design is a slate stone with a warm, smooth, and pinkish tone.
All our stones are extracted from Indian quarries. We work with slate, marble, and mica for their brittle qualities.
The StoneLeaf founders have developed a unique and innovative manufacturing process: the panels of stone are manually removed from our blocks using an agglomerate of resin and fiberglass that we let dry on its surface. Once dry, the panels are pulled off one by one until the stone block is depleted. We thus obtain a great number of panels from the same block.
YES, our stone panels are real stone!
They have the same characteristics (resistance and durability), without its disadvantages. Our panels are thin, light, flexible, inexpensive, and easy to install and to transport.
Because our panels are real stone and therefore products created by nature, each panel is unique and can have some variations. However, we will always deliver panels from the same block of stone to ensure consistency in color and pattern.
Rio is available in 3 formats: 1220x610 mm, 300x600 mm (Stick&Stone) and 4 cover formats for MacBook.
It is available in 4 finishes: Classic (opaque backing), Translucent (transparent resin on the back that lets the light through), Stick&Stone (adhesive and waterproof) and covers for MacBook.
The installation of the stone panel is easy for anyone to do! A simple circular saw (pair of scissors for Stick&Stone), an orbital sander, and our polymer glue. You can install our panels indoors, outdoors, in wet areas (shower, pool, ...) as well as in dry areas (wall, fireplace <120°), furniture, etc.) as well as on curved surfaces.<
We also provide sealants, water repellents, cleaners, wipes, etc. all adapted to your project.
