Our LONDON design is the Best Seller of our Classic finish since it perfectly represents slate in all its aesthetic glory. It is a bluish and dark slate.
Its color is homogeneous, its texture is rather smooth (rated 2/5) and matte (gloss 1/5).
The composition of our Translucent panels is identical to our Classic finish with the only difference being that the resin and fiberglass agglomerate at the back of the panels is transparent and thus lets the light pass through.
Indeed, it is REAL stone and not a reconstruction: this agglomerate is applied on each block that we extract from our quarry and after drying, we "wax" the block, panel by panel, until the block is depleted.
This allows us to extract about a hundred panels per block and to homogenize the batch in terms of color and pattern.
We will always make sure to deliver a set of panels from the same block in order to guarantee this homogeneity. Stone being a natural product, there may be some variations from one panel to another that we cannot control. Do not hesitate to contact us to choose your block / batch and to be sure of what you will receive.
The Translucent finish is suitable for any backlit project, inside or outside (lighting fixtures, furniture, walls, showers, dressing room walls, kitchen splashbacks, etc.) in both wet and dry areas.
London is available in 3 sizes (122x61 cm, 240x120 cm and 30x60 cm) and 3 finishes (Classic, Translucent and Stick&Stone). This stone also exists in our Cover range to protect your MacBook with a unique case!
