Our MONTREAL Translucent design is a green slate with ochre details. This design is slightly textured (1/5) and, being a slate, its appearance is rather matte (2/5).
Our stones are 100% natural. They have the same characteristics in terms of resistance, aesthetics, color and texture variations, etc. Our Translucent finish is identical to our Classic finish but the back is transparent to let the light pass through.
You can thus use this design on a back-lit surface for your splashbacks, your dressing rooms or your showers, inside and outside. Our panels are thin (1.5 - 1.8 mm thick), light (1.5 - 2 kg/m2) and flexible, allowing for a multitude of application possibilities.
To achieve this level of thinness, we apply a resin mixed with fiberglass to our blocks and then, after drying, we manually tear off panel after panel, until the block is depleted.
One block allows us to obtain around a hundred panels. Variations can appear from one block to another, as it is natural stone. Do not hesitate to contact us to select your blocks and make sure the pattern you will receive is consistent with your vision.

Regarding the installation process, you will find all the installation protocols and specification sheets developed by our team to ensure optimal installation, available under each product page and in the "Media" section of our website.
There, you will be able to read how a simple circular saw with carbide blade or jigsaw will be used to cut the panels. For the installation, we recommend our transparent glue, sold online in our E-shop under "Installation & Maintenance". You will also find sealants, cleaners, water repellent for installation in humid areas, etc.
