For his splashback, he chose our Rio stone veneer in a translucent version.

STONE THAT COMES ALIVE WITH LIGHT
At first glance, the splashback already captivates with the natural shades and textures of the Rio stone.
But behind the stone, Julien designed a LED backlighting system.
Once the light is turned on, the material takes on a completely new dimension. The natural details of the stone are revealed, the textures come to life, and the shades are defined with greater intensity.
An almost lunar effect that gives the splashback a completely different presence in the kitchen.

This is precisely what makes translucent stone so unique: the light doesn't just illuminate the material, it reveals it.

For Julien, this splashback was designed as one of the most spectacular elements of his apartment.
And the bet paid off.
The stone veneer dresses the kitchen while creating a strong focal point in the room. When switched off, it reveals all the authenticity of natural stone. When backlit, it creates a completely new atmosphere.
