Rough marble belongs to a family of minerals in the silicate group. This family has an atomic structure in the form of layers that can slide under one another. Marble's silky appearance is reminiscent of jade, which is often confused with it. Marble sheet stone is characterized by a rough feel and remarkable hardness. Its color spectrum is extremely varied, ranging from white to gray to blue, from yellow to brown to black. The minerals that make up raw marble are aggregations or concentrations that give marble a veined appearance. Marble sheet stone is a unique material thanks to all its physical specificities. Each sheet of stone is laid on a fiberglass backing and then in polyester resin. This technique gives the stone sheet greater strength, given their very thin thickness of only 1.5 to 2 mm. The raw marble sheet is also very light, weighing between 1.5 and 2 kg/m².

Our new stone sheets come in different sizes to suit all configurations. Our large 2400×1200 mm formats avoid the need for joints, while our 1220×610 mm formats are more suited to smaller surfaces.
Easy to install
Raw marble sheet stone is easy to install. There's no need to remove previous coverings, which reduces the time and cost of your work. All that's required is a clean, dry and smooth surface for a perfect finish. What's more, marble sheet is easy to cut with a carbide-tipped circular saw or a diamond blade. And, once cut to the right size, all you need to do is glue it in place with our specific glues for each type of sheet to guarantee perfect adhesion.
Similarly, for longevity and good maintenance, we recommend protecting it due to its porosity with a product adapted to our raw marble range.
